Both Akritech, Agriculture Technology company is founded by Mr Jason ANG, CH Chai and K T ANG, the company is specialized on the agriculture research, farming, buy, sell, trading, distributing, import & export of leeches in Malaysia. The idea of leech breeding is inspired by Purefil Pte Ltd (incorporated in 2004) which is specialized on the research of water filtration and treatment. PUREFIL have accumulating 6 years experience in water treatment and filtration, through out the experience the technologies have brought forward to Akritech Pte Ltd.
Currently Akritech Pte Ltd had a Leech Farm located in Senai, Johor and another in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia which is in charge by Mr K T ANG. Mr K T ANG is graduated from University technology Malaysia with honored degree. The farm had successfully breeding 4 generation of leaches with 8 months breeding since 2008 June. The said farm leeches have been contracted out for oversea pharmaceutical factory. Mr K T Ang also expanding another farm to breed more leeches in the same landscape for another contract, the new farm is estimated to be completed by end of this year.
Leech Farming Research
We also have a research team, which specialized research on breeding, farming, setting up the infrastructure for leeches, water treatment research, bacteria and virus research, food of leeches research, habitat of leeches research, leeches disease and sickness research, leeches species research and etc. This team is leading by Mr C H Chai which is graduated from UTM of Malaysia with Master degree. In the same time Mr Chai also expanding the company business into reprocessing of leeches. The project including of developing and research a machine to dry the live leeches and make it into powder for export purposes. The factory is planning to be completed by end of this year.
Mr Jason ANG is in charge of international export, import, distributing, buy, sell of leeches, he is also a Managing Director of Memfil technologies Pte Ltd and Purefil Pte Ltd of Singapore. Mr Jason ANG had more than 12 years experience in international trading, sales and marketing. He also honored with Singapore Spirit of Enterprise award in year 2006. Mr Jason ANG managed to secure few contract with oversea pharmaceutical company for Akritech Pte Ltd. Mr Jason ANG is setting up a Akritech Pte Ltd of Singapore to further expand the group international market.
